Editorial Policy

Scholarship information affects important decisions, so we follow clear rules for how we research, write and update every guide on DOSTScholarship.com.

1. Official Sources First

Dates, eligibility rules, benefit amounts, priority courses and forms are taken from official DOST-SEI sources: the scholarship portal, official brochures and memoranda, the DOST-SEI website and helpdesk, and laws such as RA 7687 and RA 10612. News sites and other blogs are used only to discover topics, never as the final source of facts.

2. Answer First, Then Explain

Each guide starts with a short, direct answer, followed by quick facts, detailed sections, step-by-step instructions, FAQs and links to official sources.

3. Freshness and Updates

Every page shows a “Last updated” date. When DOST-SEI announces a new cycle, we update the existing page and clearly mark which year the information applies to. We do not present old dates as current.

4. Corrections

If we find or are told about an error, we verify it against the official source and correct the page as soon as possible. Report errors through our Contact page.

5. Independence

We are not affiliated with DOST or DOST-SEI. Our content is not influenced by advertisers or third parties, and any future advertising will be clearly separated from editorial content.

6. Original Content

Our guides, tables and practice questions are written by our team. We do not copy other websites’ content or reviewers.
